Village band set to perform in Mary Steven's Park

ALVELEY village band will be tuning up ready to appear in Mary Steven's Park early next month.

The band are set to feature at the popular Stourbridge venue on Sunday July 6.

They will be showcasing their wide variety of musical arrangements with a family concert from 2.30pm until 5pm at the bandstand.

The band, which will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year, consists of players from all grades and ages - some of whom are fully qualified musicians.

They meet every Saturday morning at Alveley Primary School, on Daddlebrook Road, from 9am until 11am and are always on the lookout for new members.
