BRIERLEY Hill based law firm Higgs & Sons hosted the largest corporate sporting event in the region when it staged its annual charity football tournament at Stourbridge Rugby Club.
Around 350 professionals representing companies from across the region descended on Stourton for the event which raised more than £4,000 for The Prince's Trust which is Higgs & Sons' designated charity for 2014.
A total of 40 teams took part in the competition where Nicklin LLP came out on top by beating hosts Higgs in the final. Mazars finished third with Jonathan Lee Recruitment claiming the Plate prize.
Richard Griffiths, a partner in Higgs' corporate team and organiser of the event, said: "This is the eighth year we have run the football tournament and it's popularity continues to grow year on year."
