SOCCER mad staff from Stourbridge pub Lloyds Bar will be taking on rivals from fellow Wetherspoon pubs next month to raise much needed funds for company charity CLIC Sargent.
Halesowen College has donated the use of its pitch for the game which takes place on Monday August 18.
James Cooper, shift manager at Lloyds - also known as the Edward Rutland, said: "We used to sponsor a team called Lloyds in the local Dudley and Cradley League, but that was made up with players from Withymoor.
"We played them previously for charity, but this time we're taking on fellow Wetherspoons employees and looking to raise as much money as we can."
Lloyds will be staging other fundraisers at its High Street bar during this summer's school holidays with special children's days.
