STOURBRIDGE’S Ryemarket shopping centre is hosting free fun days for kids on Fridays throughout the school holidays.

Centre manager Kelley Dyas has organised an animal day to take place on Friday August 8 in conjunction with the Just for Pets store.

Stourbridge based Angie’s Animal Antics will return to the centre with animals ranging from rabbits to chinchillas so children can get up close and handle them and learn more about their habits and habitats.

Forest Pet Rescue, a small charity which provides care and a safe haven to unwanted, abandoned and mistreated dogs from across the Midlands, will also be attending – along with The Greyhound Rescue charity, the RSPCA, dog groomers and police dogs.

Visitors will also have chance to have their dogs micro chipped by appointment at Just for Pets.

Oggies dog biscuits will also host a dog biscuit bake off – offering children chance to decorate dog biscuits; and mascots from Just for Pets and Oggies will be out and about meeting and greeting visitors throughout the day.

The centre will also host a Lego workshop on Friday August 15, a circus skills workshop on Friday August 22, and a glitter craft workshop on Friday August 29.
