WOLLASTON Tennis Club will be serving up a treat for youngsters affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster this weekend.
The club, on Prestwood Drive, will once again play host to 20 children from Belarus whose lives have been impaired by the 1986 disaster.
Club chairman, John Cutler, said: "Last year was such a wonderful occasion that we wanted to repeat it again. We will be putting on a number of activities for the children to take part in."
Youngsters will arrive at the club tomorrow morning (Saturday August 9) and take part in a variety of games - not just tennis.
The club will also provide a barbecue and ice creams in addition to raising funds for the charity Chernobyl Children's Lifeline, which has a branch in Kinver and has been running for 20 years.
