A PEACE and justice vigil in Lye next week to show support for the people of Gaza.
Lye Ghausia Mosque community hall on High Street, will be the venue for the vigil on Wednesday (August 13), to call for an end to the violence and for sanctions against Israel.
Organiser, Councillor Mohammed Hanif, who represents Lye, said Stourbridge Palestine Solidarity Group and Dudley Council's deputy leader Councillor Pete Lowe would be among those speaking out on the issue.
Cllr Hanif said the vigil, which will run from 7.30pm to 8.45pm, was open to anybody who is against the conflict, which has cost the lives of around 1,800 people.
