INTERNET sensations The Fizzogs are gearing up for a tour of Dudley and Sandwell which will see them recreate the laugh-out-loud routine that made them a worldwide hit.

The group, who went viral on YouTube after their comedy dancing grannies act was filmed at Stourbridge Carnival, will undertake a whistle-stop tour of landmarks across the region on Monday September 1.

They will also perform their 50 Per Cent Funnier comedy tour for the last time in the Black Country at Wednesbury Town Hall on Saturday September 6 - before they embark on a new touring show early next year.

The outing will be The Fizzogs' first stage appearance since they became internet sensations in July.

Dubbed the gyrating geriatrics, the group comprising Sue Hawkins, Deb Nicholls, Jacky Fellows and Emma Rollason attracted more than 1.1million hits online from all over the world after a video of their hilarious routine at Stourbridge Carnival was posted on facebook by fan Lucy Rutherford.

Sue Hawkins, from Wordsley, said: "We have conquered the globe and now we are coming back home. It’s a chance for local folk to see again what the rest of the world has just caught up with.”

Tickets for the Wednesbury show cost £12 each and are available online from www.fizzogproductions.ticketsource.co.uk or call 07757 424618.
