COMMUNITY groups in South Staffordshire still have time to apply for grants from the Police and Crime Commissioner's People Power Fund.
The scheme is part of PCC Matthew Ellis' commitment to put half a million pounds back into local communities.
Mr Ellis is looking for local groups to come forward with solutions to community safety problems, including anti-social behaviour.
The best ideas will receive funding between £100 and £3,000.
He said: "There's already been a good response for the latest round of funding. Community groups with good ideas to cut crime and make their area safer should go to the website and find out more."
Applications must be made by Sunday September 14.
