BAKERS in Stourbridge are being asked to help whisk up some cash for Children in Need.
Sir Terry Wogan is encouraging locals to don their aprons and choose either a lemon drizzle, fruit cake, Battenberg, carrot cake, Victoria sponge or chocolate cake to bake and sell for the cause.
He said: “Come on Stourbridge; be a baking hero for BBC Children in Need. As your cake rises, you'll be raising money for disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK.”
The official fundraising pack is available for download now from www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey and is jam packed with baking ideas to help the public with their fundraising efforts ahead of the appeal night show on November 14.
