FITNESS lovers with a need for speed can try out a new season of spinning classes at Stourbridge's Crystal Leisure Centre.

Spin classes last 45 minutes and take place in a studio with specialist cycle equipment, which help burn calories, tone muscles, relieve stress and improve cardio health.

Sessions will run on Mondays from 10.45am to 11.30am and Tuesdays from 9.45am to 10.30am.

Spin and trim classes will run on Tuesdays from 10.30am - the 30 minute sessions focus on the upper body, abs and toning exercises.

All sessions start from Monday September 22 and people are advised to take a towel and a drink.

Councillor Rachel Harris, cabinet member responsible for health, said: “The spinning classes are a great way to get fit and have fun and are just one of the many activities and fitness classes available at our leisure centres.”
