BLACK Country MP Margot James is in the pink to raise awareness for a flagship cancer campaign.
The Stourbridge MP, whose constituency includes Dudley Wood, hosted a parliamentary fashion event to get behind the Breast Cancer Campaign’s call for people raise funds by wearing pink on Friday October 24.
Ms James hosted her own Wear It Pink event in the corridors of power to show her support for the campaign.
She said: “Every year in the UK over 50,000 women and around 350 men are diagnosed with breast cancer. The Breast Cancer Campaign does excellent work funding the vital research that saves and improves lives, giving people quicker diagnoses and more effective treatments.
“I hope you’ll all join me by wearing it pink on Friday 24 October and showing your support for breast cancer research.”
