The autumn sunshine shone on visitors to the I Will wedding show at Dumbleton Hall near Evesham last Sunday.

Almost 100 brides and grooms-to-be attended the event to gather ideas for their big day by browsing the range of quality wedding products and services on display including bridal fashion and menswear, flowers, photography and even fireworks.

The 19th Century Dumbleton Hall, set in 19 acres of garden and woodland, is an ideal wedding venue as it can cater for intimate wedding parties or large gatherings of up to 100 guests.

Exhibitor Chris Jack of Mr and Mrs Productions, a wedding and event filming service, said he was very pleased with the event.

He said: “It was great – much busier than expected – and many of the couples said they were booked in to get married at the hall.”

Chris said he found visiting Dumbleton Hall particularly significant as his family were one of only two previous owners. Although they sold the hall in 1959, his family has a long connection with Dumbleton and many of his relatives were laid to rest in the local cemetery.

The next I Will Autumn wedding fair will take place at the Chateau Impney in Droitwich Spa this Sunday, October 26, from 11am until 3pm. The venue is a fine example of classic French Chateau-style architecture with 110 en-suite bedrooms and function and events facilities for up to 1,000 guests.

I Will Wedding Fairs – run by the people behind local newspapers such as The Shuttle, Bromsgrove Advertiser, Redditch Advertiser, Stourbridge News, Halesowen News and Dudley News – bring together an array of services under one roof.

This means couples, and their families and friends, can spend a relaxed and enjoyable day collecting ideas and contacts to help create the perfect wedding.
