A VINTAGE fair that has been bringing the glamour of the yesteryear to Stourbridge is celebrating its first birthday.

For the last 12 months, retro-lovers have been flocking to the town to snap up clothing, accessories, homeware and vinyls from decades gone by.

Hundreds of happy customers have picked up unique and stylish items from the bi-monthly Kiki & Honey's Vintage & Retro Fair, started by Black Country friends Ella Gardiner and Maria Kaye.

Ella from Wollaston, said: "Over the last twelve months, we've seen the fair go from strength-to-strength. We've built up a good base of regular customers, some who are locals and some who travel into Stourbridge just for our fair, who we look forward to seeing each time."

Maria, who lives in Wolverhampton, added: "The response to the fair has been really positive, from the public, from local businesses and people involved in running town events. We were invited to take part in the Stourbridge Carnival in July, which was one of the highlights of our year. We've been asked to recreate our vintage village there again in 2015."

The birthday extravaganza will take place on November 15 from 11am to 4pm at St Thomas' Church Hall.

One lucky fair-goer will receive a £20 voucher to spend at the stalls, plus a free hair and beauty make-over.

There will also be a slice of birthday cake for the first 50 people though the door.

In addition to a the usual mix of stalls, visitors can try their hand at crochet, get their purchases tailored by a seamstress and see the milliner to get the perfect hat to match an outfit.
