A STOURBRIDGE artist has brightened up her local library by creating four colourful murals to adorn the walls.
Natalie Perry, aged 29, decided to express her fondness for Stourbridge Library through art , with a helping hand from fellow bookworms.
She said: "I held some workshops with the public to find out what their favourite stories were and what they like best about the library and used that as inspiration for my drawings.
"The murals are based around characters in books in different settings. I love the library and did this out of a desire to get other people to love it and come along."
The finished pieces were handed over on Wednesday (October 29) and are now taking pride of place in the children's library.
Mrs Perry, who spent more than 12 months creating the murals, added: "The reaction has been very positive."
