BLACK Country comedy group The Fizzogs are joining forces with music combo The Empty Can to raise money for Children In Need.
They will team up to perform in Stourbridge High Street on Monday November 10, between 1pm and 3pm, when they will be collecting money for the charity
The Fizzogs became an internet sensation when their dancing grannies routine, filmed at Stourbridge Carnival, went viral and attracted 1.5 million hits online.
The Empty Can also attracted widespread approval with their anthem “I Vow to The Black Country” which was recorded to promote Black Country Day in the summer.
Proceeds from the online sales of the song were donated to Wolverhampton’s Compton Hospice.
Fizzog Deb Nicholls said: “We are back in Stourbridge as the grannies doing our bit for Children in Need with our mate James Stevens and The Empty Can. We are also hoping to be featured on the BBC’s nationwide coverage on November 14.”
