A SINGING Stourbridge pensioner proved she'd still got talent when she walked away with the top prize aboard a packed cruise ship after impressing judges in an onboard karaoke competition.
Muriel Harper, who turned 89 during her trip on the Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas ship, belted out her version of My Way to more than 1,000 people when she won the competition during a two-week European cruise.
The octogenarian, who suffered heart failure two years ago and was ordered by medics not to fly, said she was a "bit nervous" and couldn't believe it when she won - almost a decade after she sang her way to success in the YOURS Silver Stars Talent Contest at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall.
