BEST-SELLING Black Country author Miranda Dickinson will be promoting her latest romantic read at borough libraries this week.
The popular chick-lit writer, who grew up in Kingswinford, will be talking about her writing experiences and signing copies of her sixth novel I’ll Take New York at Sedgley Library from 10.30am tomorrow (Thursday November 27) and later that day at Coseley Library from 2pm.
She will also be at Wordsley Library on Friday November 28 from 10.30am.
An "almost sequel" to her first best-selling debut novel Fairytale of New York, Miranda's latest release will be available to fans in advance of its December 4 release date.
Councillor Hilary Bills, Dudley's cabinet member responsible for libraries, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Miranda. Her previous titles have proven extremely popular with our borrowers and I hope this latest edition is a hit.”
Miranda, aged 41, has sold more than 500,000 copies of her books - published through Avon (part of HarperCollins).
Her latest novel, which will be available to borrow at all borough libraries following its official release date, follows the blossoming friendship between Brooklyn bookstore owner Bea James and broken-hearted psychiatrist Jake Steinmann who meet at an engagement party for leading Fairytale characters Rosie and Ed.
