A KINGSWINFORD youngster who chopped off her long locks has raised hundreds of pounds for charity.

Holly Wren had 10 inches cut off her hair to give to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children with cancer.

The eight-year-old hoped also raised £359.30 through sponsorship, smashing her target of £100.

Her mum Lucy said: "We are so proud of her, she's been so positive about it all and loves her new hair.

"We're overwhelmed with how generous people have been."

The Crestwood Park Primary School pupil got her new look at Unique Hair Design in Brierley Hill on November 26.
