A PUPIL at Edgecliff High School in Kinver has been awarded a bursary from the village’s Rotary Club to help with her further education studies.
Ella Bowen, a year 12 pupil, was one of three students shortlisted to receive The Rotary Club of Kinver’s Bursary Fund – an annual grant awarded to an Edgecliff sixth form pupil.
President of the Rotary Club Nick Geoghan, who presented the bursary to Ella, said: “We are grateful to all the students who applied for the Bursary Fund.
“Ella’s application was excellent. We hope the bursary will help her to achieve her aspirations and wish the other students well in the future.”
Chris Rogers, Edgecliff headteacher, said: “We are very grateful to Kinver Rotary Club for their continued support of our school.”
