THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between February 16 and 20:

Fitzroy Brooks, aged 76, of Bratch Close, Netherton, was fined £145 for being in charge of a German shepherd which was dangerously out of control in Netherton on November 5, 2014. He must pay compensation of £65, a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs. The court ordered that the dog must be kept muzzled and on a lead when in a public place, only walked by people over the age of 18 and it must be microchipped and a policy of third party insurance put in place within one month or it will be destroyed.

Craig Thomas Shotton, aged 19, of Haden Road, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a man and damaging a car in Brierley Hill on September 27, 2014. He must carry out 180 hours of unpaid work and pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £60 and £200 court costs.

Stefan Iulian Bunea, aged 18, of Park Hill Street, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £109.10, from B&M, Dudley, on January 11 and taking items worth £22, from Iceland, Dudley, on December 14, 2014. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Carmen Dumitru, aged 40, of Park Hill Street, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £114.10, from stores in Dudley on January 11 and items, worth £22, from Iceland, Dudley, on December 14, 2014. She must pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Ramandeep Samra, aged 34, of Lutley Avenue, Halesowen, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing items, worth £175.50, from Peacocks, Brierley Hill, on February 2. She must pay a victim surcharge of £15.

Jose Eduardo Alipio Santos, aged 60, of St John Street, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing DVDs, worth £151.92, from BHS, Merry Hill, on January 26. He must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £85 court costs.

David John Teale, aged 34, of Laurel Lane, Halesowen, was fined £110 for stealing meat, worth £35.94, from Aldi, Halesowen, on February 3 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on February 16. He must pay compensation of £35.94 and £40 court costs.

Desmond Michael Billingham, aged 40, of Copse Road, Netherton, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for two years, for stealing items worth £2,565.75, from stores in Dudley, Kingswinford and Brierley Hill, between December 27 and 31, 2014. He was given a 10 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Sarah Kimberley Cole, aged 27, of Wells Road, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items worth £67 from One Stop, Wordsley, on November 9, 2014. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

David John Handley, aged 46, of Fens Crescent, Brockmoor, was given a 12 month community order for stealing insulation boards, worth £240, from Gaffney & Guinin Contractors, Brierley Hill, on October 3, 2014. He must carry out 180 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Rickie Lewis Adrian Morgan, aged 20, of Brooklands, Wordsley, was fined £110 for drink driving in Wordsley on February 6. When tested he had 44mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Ihab Ahmed Afif Muflahi, aged 29, of Barn Close, Lye, was given a 12 month community order for possessing a knuckle duster and cannabis in Warley on January 2. He must carry out 150 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.

Adam Matthew Jones, aged 27, of Naylors Grove, Upper Gornal, was fined £135 for drink driving in Sedgley on February 5. When tested he had 66mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Ruth Victoria Tait, aged 38, of Coppice Avenue, Stourbridge, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a sat nav and headphones, worth £400, in Stourbridge between January 7 and 14. She must pay compensation of £31 and £15 victim surcharge.

Samuel George Phillip Birch, aged 20, of Walker Avenue, Stourbridge, was fined £350 for assaulting a police officer in Stourbridge. He was also sentenced for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress, in Brierley Hill on February 7. The offence was racially aggravated. He must pay compensation of £45, a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

Mark Schirinzi, aged 26, of Anne Road, Quarry Bank, was given a two year community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on November 22, 2014. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £85 court costs.
