Head Coach, Neil Mitchell is eying up fourth place in National League Two after their hopes of promotion were dashed after a poor set of results saw them lose eight of ten fixtures either side of the New Year.

Mitchell now hopes the easy 46-3 win over Harrogate - a side who are cemented to the bottom of the table having only won once all season - will be the springboard to a fruitful end to the campaign.

Mitchell said: "I have set the players a target of finishing in the top four and hopefully this Harrogate win will be the start of a good run of results.

"We have five games left and I will be expecting five victories."

Despite the comprehensive Stourton Park triumph the coach was not overly happy with the performance although he was encouraged by the debut performance of former Colt Duncan Kelly.

The coach added: "Even though we won comfortably I was a little disappointed with the performance.

"We were a little bit dis-jointed at times and it seemed like certain players were trying to show off their individual abilities a little bit too much.

"It was great to see Duncan play so well and it was very encouraging to see one of our home produced players out there.

"I said when I took this job I would like to see players from the Colts break into the first team and I'm sure Duncan will be the first of many."

Stour now face a weekend off but they will be returning to action away at Blackheath on Saturday March 17.

Meanwhile both Ally Bressington and James Tideswell could be in action at Blackheath this Saturday.

The pair have retained their places in the English Counties side who are set to play their French counterparts.
