Chairman, Barbara Gregory, opened the February meeting, welcoming members and visitors.

At next month's AGM the committee will stand down and as there are two vacancies, due to two committee members retiring, members were urged to consider adding their name to the nomination list.

Members agreed that the minutes of the last meeting presented by secretary, Liz Moseley be accepted and signed. Josie Bunn, treasurer, gave an end of year report showing a healthy bank balance and reminded members that the annual fee was due today. Also that we had joined the Dudley transport Scheme.

Federation Report. Ann Birchell gave the Federation Report. Forthcoming events are: Malvern Theatre 30th May Hay Fever' at £20.50 including coach fare. Tea and Tales, afternoon event at Wollaston Church Hall, 18th April £5.00 including tea, and the International Lunch at Chester on 21st March.

Luncheon Club. The next meeting will be at The Glassworks, Audnam on Monday 5th march. Meet at 12.15pm. The Himley Country Hotel for the Birthday Lunch 2nd April has been booked.

Theatre Group. Barbara Taylor gave details of the matinee show Oklahoma' by the Tab Operatic Society at Brierley Hill Civic Hall on 31st March.

A Patchwork and Quilting Exhibition will be at the Wombourne Library 24th and 25th March.

There will be a skittles evening outing on 7th September.

Barbara encouraged members to support the stall booked at the Wordsley Festival on June 16th on Wordsley Park.

Barbara then introduced three members who were to give talk about their holidays. Jill Green visited Singapore and Thailand. Liz Hubbard travelled to see her son and family in Australia and Betty Taylor fulfilled a childhood dream of holidaying in China.

The next meeting on 19th March will be the AGM followed by a celebration of the Guild's 5th birthday. All meetings are held at Wordsley Green Community Centre, the third Monday each month at 10am. New members and visitors are always very welcome.
