A DUDLEY  animal rescue charity is looking for a loving home for a Staffordshire bull terrier who was abandoned after being used for breeding.

Lexi has been in the care of Ravens Rescue for six months and is yet to find her forever home.

She has had eight litters of puppies after being bred from a young age and was then abandoned and left outside for weeks when her previous owner moved away.

Lexi, aged eight, is currently being looked after by foster carer Lucy Antill, who said: “Despite having experienced a really hard life she is absolutely delightful.

"She is house-trained, very affectionate, loves people and knows basic commands.

"She is also quite young for her years and just needs someone to give her a chance to enjoy a stable, loving home of her own.”

Anyone interested in offering Lexi a home would need to ensure she was the only pet as she is nervous around other dogs.
