MOTORISTS on the M5 southbound have been hit by delays due to a broken down lorry at Junction 4 at Bromsgrove.
The vehicle broke down just before 5pm, prompting a lane closure of the motorway exit slip road - resulting in heavy traffic.
No other major incidents have been reported on the roads across the Black Country and North Worcestershire this evening.
However, there are a few ongoing road works and the usual congestion spots to avoid which include:
*Hagley Road in Hagley, where road works are being carried out at the Kinver Drive junction. Temporary traffic lights are in operation so expect delays there.
*Stafford Street in Dudley remains closed between the Wolverhampton Street and Southalls Lane junctions, following the huge fire in the snooker hall on Sunday. A diversion is in place via Wolverhampton Street and Southalls Lane.
*Road works are also being carried out on the A38 Worcester Road in Wychbold, Bromsgrove, at the Crown Lane junction. Temporary traffic lights are in operation.
*And temporary traffic lights are also being used on Hanbury Road in Droitwich Spa due to roadworks being carried out at The Holloway junction.
