THE following appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between June 22 and 26:

Teresa Charlene Andrews, aged 31, of Milton Close, Amblecote, was given a three month community order for stealing items, worth £18.50, from Tesco, Stourbridge, on June 5. She was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Nazir Islam, aged 54, of Devon Crescent, Holly Hall, was fined £300, for failing to stop his vehicle when required to do so by a police officer and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in Dudley on November 28, 2014. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £620 court costs.

David John Nicholls, aged 56, of Quentin Drive, Dudley, was fined £368 for drink driving in Dudley on May 26. When tested he had 51mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and £235 court costs.

Sophie Carr, aged 18, of Summerfield Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a handbag, worth £24.99, from New Look, Brierley Hill, on June 11. She must pay a victim surcharge of £15 and £235 court costs.

Gearoid Breen, aged 21, of Jasmine Road, Kates Hill, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intention to cause harassment, alarm or distress to a person in Dudley on December 23, 2014. He was also sentenced for stealing cheese, worth £20, from Asda, Dudley, on December 13, 2014 and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of a person likely to be caused harassment, alarm, or distress, in Dudley on December 23, 2014. The offence was racially aggravated. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80.

Pavandeep Sandhu, aged 27, of Granville Drive, Kingswinford, was given a three month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on December 17, 2014. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 6am. He must pay compensation of £75, a victim surcharge of £60 and £500 court costs.

Paul Mark Sutton, aged 44, of Lawnsdown Road, Quarry Bank, was given a six month community order for stealing beef joints, worth £45.48, from Asda, Brierley Hill, on May 25. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 6am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.

Christopher Dion Bull, aged 19, of Lister Road, Netherton, was fined £160 for undertaking or assisting in the retention, removal, disposal or realisation of stolen goods in Netherton on September 1, 2014. He must pay compensation of £700, a victim surcharge of £20 and £300 court costs.

Lesley Ann Bird, aged 34, of Duncan Edwards Close, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for stealing chocolate, worth £30.69, from 99p Store, Dudley, on May 14. She was given a two month curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 8pm and 7am. She must pay a victim surcharge of £60 and £235 court costs.
