WEST Midlands firefighters have been dealing with an unusual annual rescue in Oldbury.
Crews from Woodgate and Oldbury were called to a garden shed fire earlier this evening in Chestnut Road.
A pair of raccoons were rescued from the blaze, fire control officers say they thought they had misheard the emergency call but are now reporting their relief that the incident has “turned out ok”.
