DUDLEY College will be opening its doors to school leavers tomorrow (Saturday).

Youngsters can take part in a variety of experiences including having a go at glass blowing or hanging wallpaper, to safely landing an aeroplane through an air traffic control simulation.

Visitors will also be invited to tour the sites, attend talks, receive career advice and meet with teachers and students to find out more about college life and learning.

The wide range of A levels, including maths and sciences to history, geography, law, and product design on offer at Dudley Sixth on Ednam Road, will be showcased alongside the practical vocational courses from a range of disciplines on offer across the college from 10am to 2pm.

Lowell Williams, college principal, said “Everyone can be sure of a warm welcome on Saturday, as we want to make sure there’s a good understanding of what’s on offer at Dudley College.

“Deciding what to do after leaving school is a big decision, we want to help young people make that important choice about their future. I know we have fabulous facilities, expert staff and offer excellent support for all learners to ensure they reach their goals. “I’d like everyone to come and see this for themselves."
