GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.

So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet but there are some areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, these include: The A491 High Street in Wordsley, which has temporary traffic lights at the junction with Plant Street following the sewer collapse. Delays are expected while the lights are manually controlled between 7am and 7pm.

Temporary traffic lights are also in place because of water main work on A441 Birmingham Road in Redditch at the junction with Dagnell End Road. They will be there until today (March 17).

Gas main work and temporary traffic lights on New Road in Kidderminster near the Bridge Street junction is causing delays, while in Dudley, Stone Street is closed both ways due to the operation of the new DY Eye ferris wheel between Tower Street and Priory Street.

There is narrow lanes and a speed restriction of 50 mph on M5 in both directions between J4a M42 and J5, A38 (Droitwich), because of major roadworks, and in Redditch delays are expected on Studley Road due to temporary traffic lights at Arthur Street / Holloway Lane.

The B4187 Worcester Lane in Pedmore, Stourbridge closed northbound between the Bromwich Lane junction and the Redlake Road junction, because of roadworks. A diversion is in operation - via Worcester Lane, Worcester Road, Kidderminster Road, Stourbridge Road, Hagley Road and Redlake Road. Expect delays.
