A STEAM and country fair is coming to Himley Park this summer.

This will be the third year the historic hall and park has hosted the popular event, which has evolved from the former Steamer Sunday.

Building on past successes, the event on June 5 will not just be open to all types of vintage vehicles, but will embrace a country fair theme, including arts and crafts, fine foods, vintage stalls, ethnic hand crafted collectables and unique and unusual artefacts.

Visitors can stroll through the park and enjoy the sights and sounds of a fine collection of full size and miniature traction engines, fairground organs and vintage vehicles and take the opportunity to chat to owners about their exhibits.

Those who would like to bring a vehicle along to exhibit or to request a stall at this event, should contact Jacki Wynn, assistant events officer on 01384 817822 or email jacki.wynn@dudley.gov.uk.

Admission will be free.
