A 70-YEAR-OLD man from Blackwell received the shock of his life while visiting his parents' graves last month when he discovered someone else had been buried in the plot he had bought next to them.

Nigel Crane believes he bought the plot at The Old Cemetery on Church Lane outright after his father died in 1983, but found it had been filled when he visited the site on April 23 this year.

STAFF and students at King Edward VI College in Stourbridge were trying to get back to lessons today (Tuesday) following the shock death of a teacher who collapsed at work.

Jane Reason, subject leader for business studies, suffered a cardiac arrest last Thursday (April 28) at the Lower High Street college.

A CONVICTED Oldbury bank robber who hatched a plot to smuggle heroin worth over £8,000 to inmates inside Featherstone Prison has been locked up for a further five years.

John Hickinbottom recruited his recently bereaved niece, who lives in Rowley Regis, and an ex-convict to buy the drugs and get them into the prison.

A DINOSAUR outside West Midland Safari Park has been vandalised over the weekend.

The dinosaur was painted almost completely pink overnight between Saturday (April 30) and Sunday (May 1).
