THE Stourbridge Shuttle service is back on track after it was suspended earlier today after a defective railcar.

Operating between Stourbridge Town and Junction stations, the service was halted at about 10.05am today (Thursday).

But the shuttle's Twitter account has now confirmed the service is now up and running once again.

Earlier this morning, the account tweeted that the faulty railcar could not be moved.

Replacement taxis were operating from outside the ticket offices at both the junction and town stations.
