AN opportunity for the older members of the Dudley borough community to improve strength and balance is being offered at a new range of exercise classes.
Active Seniors are starting the sessions at various locations across the borough with the ultimate aim of reducing the risk of falls.
The programmes are designed to be beneficial to those diagnosed with osteoporosis, or for those who have experienced a fall or deterioration in their balance.
Angela Amphlett, one of the two qualified exercise specialists who will be running the classes, said: “We have helped improve the lives of hundreds of older people with our proven exercise programmes and we want to help the people of Dudley too.”
Together with her fellow specialist Kim Sproston, the pair have years of experience between them and are trained to deal with a range of health and mobility problems.
New classes, which suit varying abilities, are set to start in Halesowen, Hagley, Kingswinford, Brierley Hill and Sedgley.
