A POPULAR Stourbridge record fair is returning once again, with organisers promising the biggest and best event yet.

Kiki & Henry's Record Fair was set up by two local music lovers Henry Ratcliffe and Maria Kaye more than a year ago in a bid to bring Stourbridge record fans the music they want in a format that many thought would die off.

But, with the sales of vinyl on the rise across the country, the fair has proved a hit, with fans of all music types – and all ages – adding to their existing collections or starting their vinyl purchases from scratch.

Due to popularity, Kiki & Henry's next event, on Saturday June 11, has expanded to a new and larger home – Stourbridge’s River Rooms.

As a purpose-built music venue with live bands playing most nights, the River Rooms’ size and clientele are perfect for the record fair, and Kiki & Henry said they are “delighted” to be hosting their next event there.

On offer at the fair will be even more traders than ever before, with records to suit all tastes and budgets, plus CDs, music books and memorabilia are also up for grabs.

Doors at the Mill Race Lane venue, which has ample parking, are open between 11am and 4pm. For more information email teamwhippet@yahoo.co.uk
