A DUDLEY teenager said taking part in a charity skydive was the best experience of her life to date.

By jumping out of a plane at Whitchurch in Shropshire earlier this month, Alisha Jarrett has raised more than £600 for Mary Stevens Hospice.

The hospice is very close to the Holly Hall Academy student's heart as staff supported her grandfather during his battle with motor neurone disease.

Alisha, aged 16, who was cheered on by friends from Kaisho Karate in Colley Gate, said: "It was absolutely amazing, I want to do it again."

Her mum, Nichola added: "She does a lot for charity, I'm really proud of her."
