THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between June 24 and 30:

Jane Kathleen Slater, aged 38, of Chaucer House, Colley Gate, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing alcohol, worth £14.87, from Co-op, Norton, on June 5. She was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She must pay compensation of £7.43, a victim surcharge of £115 and £100 court costs.

Jagdib Singh Bains, aged 30, of Hilston Avenue, Halesowen, was fined £440 for drink driving in Halesowen on June 10. When tested, he had 67mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £44 and £135 court costs.

Steven Dennis Bowater, aged 34, of Ivanhoe Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for committing fraud by selecting items of clothing from the shelves at Tesco Extra, Dudley, and using a till receipt to return the goods before purchasing them, on June 10. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £185 court costs.

Samuel Cassey Evans, aged 51, of Mace Street, Old Hill, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, in Warley, on March 5. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Sandwell Magistrates Court on May 31 and Dudley Magistrates Court on June 16, having been released on bail. He was disqualified from driving for three years and must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £650 court costs.

Neil Lloyd Gordon, aged 51, of Halesowen Road, Netherton, was sent to prison for eight weeks for stealing spirits, worth £50.49, from Asda, Merry Hill, on June 8 and failing to attend an initial assessment to establish whether he was dependent upon or had a propensity to misuse a class A drug, on April 12. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Samantha Louise Gore, aged 25, of Gauden Road, Wollescote, was fined £80 for assaulting a police officer in Stourbridge on June 10. She must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Damion Anthony Harris, aged 28, of King Street, Lye, was fined £80 for obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in Stourbridge on June 9. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Michael John Webb, aged 37, of Kingsway, Wollaston, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing meat, worth £23.65, from Tesco, Stourbridge, on June 11. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Piotr Andrzej Urbank, aged 45, of Overfield Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 24 weeks for driving while disqualified, without insurance or MOT in Dudley on April 9. He was also sentenced for being the keeper of an unlicensed vehicle and driving without rear registration plates and failing to stop when required to do so by a police officer in West Bromwich on April 10. He was disqualified from driving for 21 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Lucy Mansell, aged 25, of Corbin Road, Russells Hall, was fined £250 for drink driving in Dudley on June 11. When tested, she had 71mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. She was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £85 court costs.

Ahmed Taher Omar, aged 28, of Rood End, Oldbury, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for possessing cannabis in Oldbury on April 11 and failing to surrender to custody at Warley Magistrates Court on June 21, having been released on bail. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £85 court costs.

David Wesley Flavell, aged 33, of Grange Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 16 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing chocolate, worth £61.82, from Co-op, Halesowen, on June 12. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £85 court costs.

Michael John Idoine, aged 47, of High Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for stealing a shaver, worth £120, from Tesco Extra, Stourbridge, on June 28. He was given a two month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 2pm and 2am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Joseph Michael Foster, aged 36, of Stafford Street, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for being drunk and disorderly in Dudley on May 28. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Liam Hickman, aged 22, of High Street, Brierley Hill, was given a six month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on April 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Ryan Dale Barton, aged 26, of Hill Street, Netherton, was sent to prison for nine weeks, suspended for 12 months, for harassing a woman in Dudley between June 14 and 23.He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Jason Alan Kinsey, aged 32, of Himley Road, Dudley, was fined £160 for stealing a jacket, worth £56, from Elite Sports, Dudley, on June 17. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30, compensation of £54.99 and £135 court costs.
