A MAN has been warned and fined by police after he was suspected of playing Pokemon Go while driving in Stourbridge.
A 27-year-old was stopped in Birmingham Street, near Stourbridge ring road, at about 12.30pm yesterday (Monday, July 18), for driving while using his mobile phone.
Officers from West Midlands Police believed the man was playing Pokemon Go, and issued him with a fixed penalty notice ticket and has been reported to the traffic process office.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “It’s illegal to drive or ride a motorcycle using hand-held phones or similar devices.”
