MARLENE Watson, known to most as the Black Country Wench, will be returning to her Quarry Bank roots as she performs live at The Raven at this evening (Thursday, July 21).
The great-grandmother and comedienne, who now lives in Wall Heath, will be on stage at the Mousehall Farm Road pub from 8pm.
Marlene became an internet sensation early last year when she posted videos of herself telling jokes on her Facebook page, Marlene - A Black Country Wench, in a bid to keep the Black Country dialect alive.
Doors for the show open from 7.15pm and an entrance cost of £3.50, including a free buffet during the interval, can be paid for on the door.
