THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between August 12 and 18:

Julian Probyn, aged 31, of Vicarage Road, Halesowen, was sent to prison for two weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing two Yankee Candles, worth £43.98, from Hallmark, Stourbridge, on July 4. He must pay compensation of £43.98 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Jubique Richards, aged 22, of Lawley Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for having a knuckle duster and lock knife in Dudley on July 31. He was also sentenced for driving without a licence, insurance or MOT. He was given six penalty points, fined £120 and must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £185 court costs.

Marek Parczewski, aged 33, of Crossgate Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for eight weeks for stealing cosmetics, worth £46.51, from a Sharif & Sons, Dudley on August 13 and perfume of unknown value, from Debenhams, Brierley Hill, on July 4. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance in Dudley on July 4 and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty in Oldbury on August 13. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Assad Junaid, aged 21, of Croftwood Road, Stourbridge, was given a 12 month community order for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe violence would be used against them and causing £2,500 worth of damage to an Audi A4 in Lye on September 9, 2015. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

David James Owen, aged 38, of Stourbridge Road, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Quarry Bank on July 8. When tested, he had 68mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also sentenced for driving while disqualified, without insurance or an MOT. He was fined £140 and was disqualified from driving for 22 months. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs. He was also given a 20 day curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am.

Ashley Campbell, aged 23, of Hill Bank, Stourbridge, was given a six month community order for driving while disqualified and without insurance, in West Bromwich, on August 1. He was disqualified from driving for nine months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £125 court costs. He was also given a 28 day curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 5am.

Frank Arthur Wilde, aged 36, of Addison Road, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for driving while disqualified and without insurance, in Oldbury on August 15. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must carry out 60 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Daniel Williams, aged 35, of Halesowen Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing a drill and bedding, worth £46, from Wilkinsons, Dudley, on September 12, 2015. He must pay compensation of £32, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Lee Roger Clift, aged 34, of Baldes Lane, Lye, was given a 12 month community order for stealing bedding, worth £174.97, from TK Maxx, Merry Hill, on August 1. He was given a three month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 9pm and 5am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £60 court costs.

Lance Shane Green, aged 19, of Marriott Road, Netherton, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on April 10. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.
