THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between August 22 and 25:

Michael Anthony Hickman, aged 38, of Lindsey Place, Brierley Hill, was given an eight week community order for stealing power tools, worth £2,000, in Stourbridge, on June 24. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £100 court costs.

David Anthony Mills, aged 42, of Springfield Grove, Sedgley, was discharged conditionally for six months for stealing dog food and chocolate, worth £3.34, from Co-op, Sedgley, on July 18. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £75 court costs.

Wayne Ian Homer, aged 30, of Springfield Road, Brierley Hill, was fined £50 for being drunk and disorderly in Brierley Hill on July 24 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on August 8, having been released on bail. He must pay £135 court costs and a victim surcharge of £30.

Stuart James Busby, aged 35, of Wellspring Gardens, Dudley, was fined £150 for stealing alcohol, worth £55.30, from One Stop, Dudley, on June 25 and possessing cannabis in Dudley on August 5. He must pay compensation of £18.43, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Lucy Diane Southall, aged 33, of Leabank Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 18 months for stealing meat, worth £38, from Asda, Halesowen, on May 27. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Daniel Luke Dimmock, aged 26, of Lakeside, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for harassing a woman in Brierley Hill on April 22. He must carry out 150 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Christopher John Shenton, aged 27, of Spring Street, Lye, was fined £200 for driving without insurance in Warley on July 19. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £80 court costs.

David Roy Russell, aged 51, of Narrow Lane, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 16 weeks for assaulting a man and woman in Halesowen on August 17. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Gavin Garratt, aged 28, of Jervis Close, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for two months, suspended for 12 months, for stealing deodorant, worth £72, from Boots, Dudley, on August 22. He must pay compensation of £72 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Michael John Idoine, aged 47, of Crabbe Street, Lye, was sent to prison for 10 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing items, worth £94, from stores in Stourbridge between March 15 and 18. He was also sentenced for possessing foil for use in the course of or in connection with theft, in Stourbridge on March 18. He must pay compensation of £20, a victim surcharge of £115 and £125 court costs.

Jake Stephen Jackson, aged 26, of Lythwood Drive, Brierley Hill, was fined £500 for driving without due care and attention and without insurance in Brierley Hill on July 23. He was given eight penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Sean Michael James O’Donnell, aged 28, of Stourbridge Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for sending a message by means of public electronic communications network that was grossly offensive or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 6pm and 6am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Benjamin Johnnie Beckford, aged 25, of Lower Derry Street, Dudley, was fined £166 for possessing cannabis in Dudley on August 10. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Matthew James Webb, aged 24, of Anne Road, Quarry Bank, was sent to prison for six weeks for driving while disqualified and without insurance, in West Bromwich on July 13. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Warley Magistrates Court on July 27, having been released on bail. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Robert Frederick Harlow, aged 69, of Prescott Road, Lye, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, in Oldbury on August 5. The offence was racially aggravated. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Richard John Perry, aged 41, of Forrest Road, Dudley, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Dudley on July 24. When tested, he had 104mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was also fined £150 for damaging four car tyres in Brierley Hill on August 4 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on August 8, having been released on bail. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Sarah Ann Turner, aged 26, of Tennyson Street, Pensnett, was given a six month community order for assaulting a man in West Bromwich on July 25. She was fined £75 and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £50 court costs.

Peter John Marsden, aged 51, of Enville Street, Stourbridge, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a woman in Stourbridge on May 1 and 8. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 8pm and 8am. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £115 and £400 court costs.
