BRAD Pitt has said he is “very saddened” after his wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce.

The Hollywood couple, known collectively as Brangelina, married in 2014 after 10 years together.

Robert Offer, Angelina’s lawyer, said the actress had filed for the dissolution of the marriage “for the health of the family”.

In a statement to People magazine, Brad said: “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids.

“I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”

CURTIS Hanson, who won an Oscar for LA Confidential and directed 8 Mile starring Eminem, has died.

The film-maker died of natural causes at his home in Los Angeles on Tuesday, police said. He was 71.

A host of stars paid tribute to Curtis following news of his death, including Kevin Bacon who starred in the director’s 1994 thriller The River Wild with Meryl Streep.

NETFLIX viewers were hooked after three episodes of sci-fi drama Stranger Things and four episodes of true crime series Making A Murderer, according to analysis by the streaming service.

More than two thirds of UK fans (70 per cent) who made it to that point in the show finished the series, Netflix found.
