We have made it to Friday, again.

The first Friday in Autumn no less, it will be Christmas before we know it.

The weather over the weekend will be overcast but thankfully dry.

But will you get home from work before the dinner gets put in the dog?

The train and Metro network is running smoothly after a week of delays and problems.

As for the motorway network, well as usual we have had a fair share of Friday snarl ups.

There are delays on M42 northbound after earlier breakdown between J3 Redditch and J5 Solihull.

There has been a breakdown on the M6 northbound blocking one lane between J6 and J7 Great Barr.

An accident on the M6 southbound is blocking one lane between J3a M6 Toll and J3 Coventry.

Another accident on the M42 southbound is blocking one lane between J9 Curdworth and J8 M6.

And there has been a breakdown on M5 northbound blocking one lane between J5 Droitwich and J4a M42.

Update: 5.40pm - Wow, that M6 is a real Friday night wrecker. Steer clear, due to the smash near Great Barr there are delays of over an hour.

There are also delays of 30 minutes in Hagley on A456 Worcester Road through roadworks at Kidderminster Road with queues on A450 from Hackman's Gate.
