THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between October 14 and 20:

Justin Batley, aged 38, of Albrighton Road, Halesowen, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for stealing a Panasonic sound bar, worth £49.99, from Asda, Halesowen, on September 16 and stealing a mobility frame, worth £99, from Murrays Chemist, Halesowen, on October 13. He must pay a victim surcharge of £150.

Max Inkersole, aged 18, of Tintagel Drive, Dudley, was sent to detention for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for possessing a kitchen knife in Oldbury on September 25. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £135 court costs.

Alan Poolton, aged 44, of Northfield Road, Netherton, was fined £120 for producing cannabis in Dudley on July 6. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Donna Louise Pritchard, aged 39, of Blackacre Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for six weeks, suspended for four months, for stealing groceries, worth £25.30, from Aldi, Netherton, on September 27. She was given a four month curfew and for the duration must remain at her home address between 7pm and 7am. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Philip Christopher McEvoy, aged 42, of Yardley Close, Oldbury, was given a four month community order for stealing items, of unknown value, in Coseley on October 14. He was given a four month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £80 and £185 court costs.

Ryan Thomas Goodwin, aged 25, of Wallace Road, Oldbury, was fined £225 for causing £180 worth of damage to a window in Warley on June 3. He must pay £180 compensation and £135 court costs.

Ross Edward Durham, aged 36, of Hagley Road, Quinton, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a man in West Bromwich, on February 6. He must pay compensation of £100 and a victim surcharge of £15.

Laura Duckhouse, aged 35, of Cot Lane, Kingswinford, was sent to prison for 18 weeks for stealing deodorant and chocolate, worth £70, from Sainsbury’s, Stourbridge, between September 2 and 16. She was also sentenced for stealing coffee, worth £20, from Co-op, Stourbridge, on September 9. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Steven William Hands, aged 33, of Greenwood Avenue, Rowley Regis, was given a nine month community order for stealing items, worth £104.99, from Matalan, Brierley Hill, on October 17. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £85 court costs.

Janet Osborne, aged 52, of Bourne Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 20 weeks, suspended for six months, for stealing clothing, worth £401, from Mothercare, Dudley, on October 13 and breaching a criminal behaviour order. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Michael Unwin, aged 63, of Winford Avenue, Kingswinford, was fined £90 for drink driving in Kingswinford on September 18. When tested he had 145mlgs of alcohol in 100mls of blood. The legal limit is 80mlgs. He was disqualified from driving for 36 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Yaniki Amini, aged 31, of King Street, Cradley, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Dudley on June 10 and damaging two walls. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £160, a victim surcharge of £85 and £350 court costs.

Steven Daniel Gillard, aged 18, of Wharf Mews, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for driving dangerously and without a licence or insurance, in Netherton on August 22. He was given a 16 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £185 court costs.

Ryan James Sheldon, aged 27, of Northfield Road, Netherton, was sent to prison for four weeks, suspended for six months, for stealing copper piping in Netherton on September 29. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £185 court costs.

Vytautas Melnikovas, aged 34, of Junction Street, Dudley, was fined £350 for drink driving in Dudley on September 29. When tested, he had 63mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £135 court costs.

Ross Thomas Morgan, aged 30, of Lupin Road, Kates Hill, was fined £160 for causing £50 worth of damage to a window in Dudley on June 24 and £200 worth of damage to a window in Dudley on June 25. He must pay £250 compensation, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Simon Nhiomoj Nhionoj, aged 38, of Birmingham New Road, Dudley, was given a four month community order for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis during the course of an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, in Oldbury, on October 2. He was also sentenced for resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was given a 16 week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was disqualified from driving for four years and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Michael Linroy Richards, aged 53, of Ascott Close, Oldbury, was fined £80 for possessing cannabis in Oldbury on October 1. He must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £185 court costs.
