A BLACK Country ladies choir will be celebrating 40 years of performing when they showcase Christmas tunes at their annual festive fundraiser next month.
The Ellenvale Singers will be raising the rafters at Brierley Hill Civic Hall during their anniversary ‘Colours of Christmas’ show on Wednesday, December 14, at 7.30pm.
The choir are also set to be joined once again by the Sovereign Brass Band, as well as the children of Roberts Primary School Choir to make the event a real festive occasion.
During the concert donations will be collected towards two causes, High Flyers South Staffs - a centre for young adults with learning difficulties – and Lottie Millward – a seven-year-old who suffers from brittle bone disease.
The choir who have been entertaining crowds for four decades have donated more than £100,000 to local causes in that time.
Tickets cost £7.50 for adults and £3.50 for children and can be purchased in advance at www.ellenvalesingers.org or from the box office on the night.
