GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.
So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but the A451 Stourport Road in Great Witley is closed both ways due to water leak between A443 Worcester Road and B4197. It is closed for safety reasons due to freezing conditions. Diversion via B4197 and A443.
An incident has caused slow traffic on the M6 southbound between J6 A38(M) Spaghetti Junction and J5 A452 (Castle Bromwich). One lane is closed.
Elsewhere, traffic is slow in Dudley on the A4123 New Birmingham Road southbound at A4033 Tividale Road / A461 Burnt Tree (Burnt Tree Traffic Lights), as well as in Marlbrook on the A38 Birmingham Road at B4185 Golden Cross Lane / Braces Lane, and the A4123 Wolverhampton Road southbound in Oldbury at A4034 Churchbridge (Birchley Island).
There are also areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, including: Temporary traffic lights on Birmingham Road in Bromsgrove between Burcot Lane / All Saints' Road and Walton Road, while Shaw Hedge Road in Bewdley is closed due to water main work between Springhill Rise / Damson Way and All Saints Avenue.
In Kidderminster, Stanklyn Lane is closed due to resurfacing work between A449 Worcester Road / Summerfield Lane and Heath Lane, and delays expected due to temporary traffic lights and tree cutting on Sutton Park Road between Rifle Range Road and Whitegate Drive.
