Well we have made it to Friday afternoon, safe and sound, despite the efforts of Storm Doris.

Thankfully the weather over the weekend will be a lot less windy and stormy than this week.

But what about your journey home? Will the dinner be piping hot or in the dog?

Thanks to Storm Doris the train network is still experiencing problems.

The entire cross city line from Redditch to Lichfield is out of action today.

And it is best to check other services before you travel to the station.

The Midland Metro, is however, is not reporting any problems.

As usual there are problems on the motorway network, there is debris on M42 southbound blocking one lane between J6 and J5.

There has been an accident on M6 southbound blocking one lane between J7 Great Barr and J6.

There has been a breakdown on the M6 southbound which is blocking one lane between J10 Black Country and J9 Wednesbury with delays from J10a M54.

In Kidderminster Broad Street is closed due to unsafe building between Churchfields, Horse Fair and Clensmore Street, Stoney Lane.

Update: 6.3pm: London Midland have confirmed trains between Redditch and Lichfield are now running whole length of Cross City line.
