GOOD morning. We are here to provide any information on incidents that might crop up throughout the rush hour period this morning on our Black Country and North Worcestershire roads.
So far the roads across the area are pretty quiet, but there is slow traffic on A4123 Wolverhampton Road Southbound at A4034 Churchbridge (Birchley Island).
There are also areas of planned roadworks which are causing delays, including: High Street, Cradley Heath, which is closed both ways due to gas main work between Newtown Lane and St Anne's Road. Bus services 4M, 17, 24, 243, 289 and X10 are being diverted and will not serve the High Street, but a temporary stop is in use on Foxoak Street.
In Upper Gornal, Vale Street is closed both ways due to water main work between Ridgeway/Moden Hill and Holloway Street/Hill Street. Diversion is in place via Hill Street, Clarence Street, Moden Hill and vice-versa. There are also roadworks on Lowhill Lane in Longbridge near B4120 Lickey Road.
In Dudley, there are gas main work on High Arcal Road both ways at St Michaels Road and The Straits, while there are temporary traffic lights and water main work in Harvington on A450 Stourbridge Road between Tandy's Lane and Woodrow Lane and Deansford Lane.
