A RAID on a Stourbridge pub has ignited an appeal from West Midlands Police.
Officers were called to reports of a burglary at the Wetherspoon’s pub Chequers Inn at 4.30am on Wednesday (February 22).
Police are now asking for information from the public after bottles of spirits were taken from the High Street venue.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called to reports of a burglary at Chequers Inn, High Street, Stourbridge, at 4.30am on Wednesday (February 22), where a quantity of spirit bottles were taken.
“Officers are examining CCTV in the area.”
Anyone with information which could help the investigation should call police on 101.
