THE following appeared at Dudley Magistrates Court between February 24 and March 2:

Ryan Franklin, aged 20, of Warley Road, Oldbury, was given a 12 month community order for driving while disqualified in Oldbury on December 18, 2016. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months and must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Victoria Billingham, aged 28, of New Street, Wordsley, was fined £100 for stealing items, worth £490, from shops in Brierley Hill, on August 23, 2016 and February 9. She must pay compensation of £300, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Reece James Pether, aged 20, of Coppice Lane, Quarry Bank, was sent to a young offender institution for 14 weeks for driving while disqualified and without insurance in Quarry Bank on February 25. He was disqualified from driving for two years and must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Ian James Rollinson, aged 24, of Pleasant View, Lower Gornal, was sent to prison for 24 weeks for stealing items, worth £734.81, from shops in Brierley Hill on February 22 and 25. He was also sentenced for assaulting a man in Dudley on February 22, causing £400 worth of damage to items belonging to TK Maxx, Brierley Hill, on February 25 and using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Dudley on February 25, with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Tyrone Colin Payne, aged 29, of Chapel Street, Pensnett, was given a 12 month community order for causing £2,000 worth of damage to a window, belonging to British Transport Police, in Wolverhampton, on October 25, 2016. He must pay compensation of £462 and a victim surcharge of £85.

Scott Lambley, aged 42, of Birbeck Place, Dudley, was fined £160 for stealing items, worth £223.68, from shops in Kingswinford on February 9. He must pay compensation of £223.68 and a victim surcharge of £30.

Paramjit Singh Dhanda, aged 34, of Tividale Street, Oldbury, was fined £350 for drink driving in Tividale on February 11. When tested, he had 61mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £35 and £135 court costs.

Stuart Craig Robertson, aged 34, of Wallows Road, Brockmoor, was given a six month community order for assaulting two police officers in Dudley on February 5. He was fined £100 and must pay compensation of £70 and a victim surcharge of £85.

Ryan Andrew Tonks, aged 19, of Tiled House Lane, Brierley Hill, was given a 12 month community order for entering a property in Dudley as a trespasser on January 12 and stealing a lamp. He was also sentenced for obstructing a police officer in the execution of her duty in Pensnett on December 3, 2016. He must carry out 140 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Aaron Anthony Higgins, aged 29, of Vauxhall Street, Dudley, was fined £400 for damaging a vehicle window in Dudley on December 11, 2016 and failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on February 3, having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £300, a victim surcharge of £40 and £600 court costs.

Natalie Ann Sandra Hussey, aged 26, of Hanover Road, Rowley Regis, was given a 12 month community order for stealing items, worth £24.95, from Home Bargains, Merry Hill, on January 25. She must pay a victim surcharge of £85.

Daniel Anthony Denston, aged 30, of Gorsty Avenue, Brierley Hill, was fined £100 for causing £200 worth of damage to a window in Brierley Hill on January 1. He must pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £30 and £100 court costs.

Ronan Sean Parker, aged 19, of Dixons Green, Dudley, was sent to detention for 70 days, suspended for 12 months, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe violence would be used, in Dudley, on November 4, 2016. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £300 court costs.

Jane Edyvean, aged 53, of Parkside Road, Cradley, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for assaulting a police officer in Cradley on February 6. She must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Sarah Jane Wentworth, aged 39, of Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, was fined £74 for stealing salmon and meat, worth £46, from One Stop, Stourbridge, on December 11, 2016. She must pay compensation of £46, a victim surcharge of £30 and £50 court costs.

Amin Mohammed Salim, aged 28, of Blackacre Road, Dudley, was sent to prison for 26 weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a police officer in Wolverhampton on December 24, 2016. The offence was racially aggravated. He was also sentenced for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause a person to believe that violence would be used. He was given a six month curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 2pm and 2am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He must also pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £115 and £600 court costs.

Victor Augustus Spair, aged 52, of Oakwood Crescent, Dudley, was sent to prison for 84 days, suspended for eight months, for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, in Dudley on September 28 and October 6, 2016. He was given a six week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £115 and £310 court costs.
