ST James Primary School in Wollaston is hosting an Easter festival next month.
The event, organised by the parent-teacher-family association (PTFA), will run from noon until 2pm on Saturday April 1 and will include games at 1pm, a raffle at 1.30pm plus a bouncy castle, donkey rides, crafts, gifts, refreshments - and an Easter bonnet parade at 1.45pm.
Samantha Shuttleworth, of the PTFA, said: “We are running the festival as the government continues to make cuts to school budgets and we hope we can raise funds for the school by doing a new event.”
