TODAY is Red Nose Day 2017, where millions of pounds is set to be raised for Comic Relief to help projects across the UK and Africa.

The Sainsbury's store in Amblecote has its Comic Relief fundraising in full swing today, with staff and customers supporting a tombola, while being entertained by Olaf and have event held a rendition from Sister Act.

Staff have also run their own bake off competition, with a fish and chip cake, made by cafe manager, Lynda Rees being declared the winner.

Yesterday, Merrie Maggie popped in for a Laughter Yoga Session with customers and staff, and today a live performance of children's official Red Nose Song - Put A Nose On It - is taking place at 4pm.

Comedian Joe Lycett was in Dudley this week to see how Comic Relief's funding supports projects in the borough.

He stopped by Sycamore Adventure - a group which gives children from the Black Country the gift of carefree play. They were given money from the charity to buy a number of go-karts.
